We here at GSCC believe that communion is an ordinance which is a commandment of Jesus. Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper, and is spiritually present at the Lord's Supper. This is true because even though Jesus ascended to heaven, as the Son of God Jesus is present everywhere at all times.
Before we take communion we should examine our life and in prayer confess any of our sins to God. This can be done right before you take communion with us. When we take communion it reminds us that we are saved by grace through faith in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
